LOCAL CLUB MEETINGS The New Metro Detroit Club Membership meetings are held on the second Sunday at 2:30 pm [September through April] in Detroit, MI.

AREA MEETINGS for the North Central District are held annually in the fall.  The Michigan meeting is the 4th Saturday of September; and Ohio-Pennsylvania-Kentucky is the 1st Saturday of October.  The purpose of the area meeting is to share program guidelines from the National Convention and methods of implementation.  It also provides club program-building suggestions.

DISTRICT CONFERENCES are held to provide effective communication between the clubs in the district, plan for the National Convention, elect district officers, provide direction for the District, and provide business, professional and leadership training for clubs in the district.  The North Central District Conference begins the third Friday in May.  The conferences are usually three days.

NATIONAL CONVENTIONS are held bi-annually [odd-numbered years] usually in July or early August.  The National Convention's objective is to plan programs, elect officers, provide direction for the Association, and provide business and professional training workshops for NANBPWC members.  National Conventions are hosted by the Districts on a rotating basis.
